Creating Implementation Project in Oracle Fusion Cloud
Login to the Fusion Instance
To configure the offering Click on Setup and Maintenance
Select Setup offering as Financials and Click on the Actions button
Click on Go to Offering to enable the feature
Click on Opt In Features
Enable the relevant functions for Implementation
To create an Implementation Project, click on the Task menu
Click on Plus icon to Create Implementation Project
Enter the details Name as VMX Project. The Code and Description field will automatically populate.
Set the Start date as 01/01/95, then Click on Next.
Select the offering you want to include in the Implementation Project. Since this setup is for Financials, expand the Financials section.
Select the tasks related to Financials. Once you’ve completed the selection, click on Save and Open Project.
Within the Implementation Project, you will see the task list as Financials, which you can expand.
If you want to create a task, you can search for it in the Task section.
For example, to create Manage Legal Entity, the code would be: %Man%Leg%Enti%
Click on Manage Legal Entity Task
Click on Go to Task Icon and select Assign Task
In the Assign Tasks Popup following information needs to be filled in:
Select the Checkbox – Assign same due date to all users
Set the Due Date – 26.06.2025
Add any notes (Optional)
Click on Plus icon under Assigned Users
Enter the User ID (same as the Login ID: Ethan.Morgan) and click on Search
The search results will be displayed. Click Apply, then click Done to proceed
Click on Save and Close
The Manage Legal Entity task has been assigned to Ethan Morgan, along with the due date.
Click on Edit Status, which is used to track the progress of tasks in Oracle Fusion Implementation Projects.
Choose the desired Status from the dropdown and Click on Save and Close.
Select Create New then click Apply and proceed by clicking the Go to Task button.
To create a legal entity click on Plus icon.
And proceed with the Creation of Legal Entity.
Similarly, all the tasks for creating different setups have been gathered within the implementation project. You can search for the task and execute the same.
